Meet Pastor Mike!

Pastor Michael Barnett was born in Greenville SC, September 6, 1978 to Bill and Terri Barnett. Pastor graduated from Hillcrest High School and later attended Bob Jones University where he earned his BA degree in German and later earned his MS in Accounting Information Systems from Strayer University. Pastor Mike is married to Marianne Barnett and has four boys; Harrison, Wilson, Judson, and Bryson. Pastor Mike was called to the ministry a year after he was married and began to serve in the ministry part time with Pastor Raleigh Nunnally at Grace Baptist Church in Petersburg, VA. Pastor was later called to Tarboro and became the pastor of New Grace Baptist Church on December 3, 2006 where he serves to this day. Pastor has a great burden for Tarboro and desires that every person gets the opportunity to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
