Fanning the Flame

IMG_1015.JPG I don't think I've really explained why this blog is called "Fanning the Flame." So I am dedicating a post to that particular title. Fanning the Flame is a term that I have often heard revivalists use. We need a revival flame to get started. We are seeing little fires spring up everywhere we look momentarily, but they do not last long at all. The fires are started by the Holy Spirit. He wants to send revival. I think of 2 Chronicles 16:9, which says, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." He is looking to send revival! But the only place He is able to do this is where He sees a heart that is sincere and humble before him; and ultimately a heart that is constant. A heart that is always living for Him. Not just on Sunday, or Wednesday, or in the prayer closet, or in the Word, or out soulwinning...all the time. the posts are helpful guides to help the Christian to do that on a daily basis with every facet of life in Christ. It is my desire to see revival, and I believe we can see revival if enough of us would fan the little flames of revival that the Holy Spirit ignites in so many places. I think if we realized how many opportunities there were to see revival, we would be ashamed. So Fan the Flame of revival with every opportunity that comes your way to do so!

  1. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Fantastic work!
