The dictionary defines the window discussed in
this particular case as a period of time regarded as highly favorable for initiating or completing something. The Bible says that God can open such windows...but he can also close them.
There are many opportunities that we miss almost daily! Opportunities to give someone a tract, or even to ask them that if they were to die five weeks or five years from now, do they know where they will spend eternity.
There are opportunities we miss with our children, and opportunities with our spouse. Opportunities that will fan the flame of our souls if we would only take them. Unfortunately, we often stand in front of the closed windows, waiting for them to open as the many open windows close in the process.
Be on the lookout for these windows! If a certain window you're standing in front of won't open, be sure to check on other ones! They may prove to be more than you'd hoped for through the one that's closed.
Remember something, God says in Revelation 3:8, "Behold,
I have set before thee an open door."
You know what? Many times the doors that
he opens are probably doors we
wouldn't open initially. Because His ways are not our ways!
Fan that flame! Take that window.
Here's a window you can take
right now! Do you know you're saved? You
can KNOW! The Bible says in 1 John 5:13, "These things have I written...that ye may
know that ye have eternal life!
